MICHIGAN BASSMASTER - CHAD PIPKENS

The Holt native took his shot at the B.A.S.S. Elite Series major stop. Cold temps and sluggish fish didn't slow him down. COYOTE CONTROVERSY - DAN BLACK
Another controversy that should not be a controversy at all, has made the Facebook biologists crazy again. Dan Black of Bath. Michigan harvested a rare black coyote and posted it on Facebook. And yes, you guessed it! All of the hate that goes without any research has started. Much like the albino whitetail, the black coyote is just a genetic mutation. Dan Shares his story of how he harvested this beautiful predator, what the MI DNR had to say and what he plans to do with it now.

Thanks to channels like the Food Network, people are getting more involved with all types of gourmet food. So why not introduce what we have always known? That wild game is a great source of protein and a renewable resource. This is a great outreach program that could end up changing a few new minds.
