Happy Birthday to our favorite walleye professor. Lance Valentine of Walleye 101, gets us ready for the spring river run in Detroit. According to Lance, these are the "good old days" of walleye fishing. You have a great chance of landing that 10 -15 pounder you've always dreamed of. The catch? Get off the couch and get down there!
For the past 13 years, we have been riding a wave of hot action that is incomparable to any we've seen. Lake Erie, Sagnaw Bay and the Detroit river will be the ultimate desitnation for 2018.

And what I have loved most, is vintage sporting collectibles. The colors and graphics of the old days are not only a call back to better days, but are a brilliant reminder of the art of marketing.

The talk has been done, now the research to bring back the Arctic Grayling to Michigan waters, is underway. Todd Grischke of the MI DNR will let us know where we stand to bring back the species that spawned the name of a northern Mihcigan town, and was wiped out by one of our biggest industires.
