Like many of you, I am an avid outdoorsman. I have raised a daughter and taught her to respect the outdoors and others that enjoy the same activities that we do. It's Unfathomable for me to comprehend how life would be for her, should my time end tomorrow. I understand that we all have our time and never know how or where it will end. However, A family has lost a father, brother, uncle and grandfather, all in one man.
He was hunting on State land in an area that is usually only ventured into by experienced hunters. He was in compliance with the law, wearing the proper amount of hunter orange apparel. He had hunted the same area for over 20 years and was recognized and considered friendly by others that came in contact out there.
This very well may have been an accident. Someone you know may have information. There is the possibility that the person responsible has confided in a trusted friend or family member, in fear of consequences, stemming from this incident.
This area sees a lot of hunter activity, especially during the firearm deer season. If you or someone you know has information, please share it with the persons in charge of the investigation or you may remain anonymous with a call to
(517)483-STOP.
Please share the info that is on our website or our Facebook page,
Thank you!
