MICHIGAN ANGLERS AND COVID 19 - DAN EICHINGER, DIRECTOR MI DNR
Crowded shorelines forced the closure of Steelhead hotspot Tippy Dam, earlier this week. Despite being outdoors, anglers and spectators are still required to observe the mandatory 6ft social distancing order.
Dan Eichinger, Director for the MI DNR, talks about the importance of social distancing and the covid19 virus and how Michigan anglers need to heed the warnings of the CDC.
From Duran: "We are all in this together. As we are already targeted by the anti hunting and fishing people of the world, we nned to follow the rules and be an example of what to do during this pandemic. Not take on the appearance of entitlement."
