NEW ALLOWANCES FOR POPE & YOUNG RECORDS - TOM NELSON


The Pope & Young Club, a long standing governing body for big game trophies taken with a bow, have made changes to their rules and now allow animals taken with lighted nocks and while using video, into their record books. Board member Tom Nelson, host of the American Archer television show, will talk about the recent rule change.

MICHIGAN'S SCENT LOK  - ALEX GYLSTROM

Michigan's own Scent-Lok created the revolution for scent eliminating apparel in the hunting industry. They have rolled with the punches and come out on top once again. Alex Gylstrom, shares some of the technology and talks about some of the improvements made and the new ownership that is making sure that they stay the leaders in the industry. HIGH SCHOOL BASS FISHING TOURNAMENT - MARK GINTERT

FLW and The Bass Federation are coming together to present the Michigan State High School Bass Fishing Championship on Lake Erie, next Sunday June 22, 2014.
Mark Gintert, The Bass Federation Youth Director will give us information on getting entered into the tournament as well as some much needed information on how to get a program started in your school.
CITIZENS FOR PROFESSIONAL WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT  - DREW YOUNGEDYKE

The signatures have been collected and turned in! Drew YoungeDyke of the MUCC and Citizens for Profeessional Wildlife Management will give an update on the petition drive to collect signatures to keep the management of Michigan's wildlife in the hands of those most qualified and not fall prey to well funded organizations as the HSUS. Drew will also talk about the current status of the MUCC and how we can help our local rod & gun and archery clubs to help them grow their numbers.
