We continue on with local guests and the music that make this the most amazing journey for any angler. All of the music interviews and music recorded live in the Celtic Hut of Derg Isle and Fisherman's Paradise. A culmination of hours of phone calls, hundreds of texts and emails mixed with the love and admiration for fishing, friendship and fun.So many came to witness this show and participate with the craft of traditional music, dance and the spirit of the lake community.

WILD MICHIGAN IN IRELAND - HOUR 1


Wild Michigan travels to Sacriff, County Clare, Ireland, to fish the 'Jewel of the Shannon" Lough Derg. Our good friend Eoin O'Hagan and his family host Duran Martinez and Sara Marie Smith for a few days of fishing, food, fun and some of the most amazing people!

We will go after wild brown trout and pike fishing on the fly. Be entertained by world class and champion fly anglers as well as learn about all that is more than "just fishing."

MOREL OF THE STORY - THERESA MAYBRIER, TEAM MOREL


No one in the Midwest is more in tune with wild mushrooms than John and Theresa Maybrier of Team Morel. The Kansas City couple have been making their way around the show circuits for years, teaching folks the importance of proper cutting, transport and cleaning of morel mushrooms. Sidelined by a mushrooming injury, Theresa takes time out of her schedule to heal and share some more great knowledge about the fast approaching morel season.

Southern Michigan is going to see an overabundance of ticks in 2015. The creepy little crawlers can infect unsuspecting folks with a number of diseases including Lyme disease. New illnesses are on the horizon making this a must hear segment to help keep yourself tick free and healthy in the outdoors.

SALMON CHARTER FOR VETERANS - CAPTAIN ED SCHROEDER


Captain Ed Schroeder and a large number of other anglers, business and charter captains are getting together for the fifth year to hold the annual Armed Forces Salmon Assault on May 16th. STEELHEAD ARE STARTING TO TRICKLE IN - DAVID A. ROSE

Warm ups and cool downs cannot stop steelhead from their annual run to spawn. But what does help to get them going is a bit of a warm up and we have had that!
