MICHIGAN OUTDOOR NEWS UPDATE - BILL PARKER

Editor of Michigan Outdoor News Bill Parker, joins us for updates on an actual case of self defense against a wolf in Northern Michigan. Parker talks about the difference between actual self defense and what could happen if you are found guilty instead of innocent. 

We'll also talk about the new pheasant initiative that is putting more quality birds in the field with State funding and how it gives more opportunities to hunters to enjoy a species whose numbers have declined due to habitat loss.

The new classes for the Outdoor Skills Academy have been unveiled by Ed Shaw of the Michigan DNR. Classes for ground hunting whitetails and waterfowl have been added. Ed will also talk about his recent trip and the affordability of hunting South Africa.
